Welcome to the Craigavon & Armagh Rural Development (CARD) Local Action Group web site.

We are responsible for the administration of the LEADER+ Programme within the rural areas of Armagh City & District Council and Craigavon Borough Council. The LEADER+ programme is a European Union Community Initiative and within Northern Ireland it has a particular focus on assisting local, rural micro-businesses.

This site contains information and guidance on the specific LEADER+ assistance available to rural businesses within the Craigavon and Armagh Council areas.

You are also able to view information on supported projects to date.

Local people will be involved in the decision making process of how these funds are delivered in the areas of Armagh and Craigavon. Through this we aim to support the rural economy and improve the quality of life of those people that work and live there.
